Mr Tay Lai Wat

Mr Tay holds a BA (Accountancy) from University of Sterling and is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. He was formerly the Group Financial Controller for First Capital Corporation Ltd.

Serving with Stamford Land Corporation Ltd ("Stamford") since 1995, Mr Tay's portfolio covers all the Group's businesses, including the areas of strategy development, operations, finance and human resources. Mr Tay also evaluates investment opportunities for the Group.

Ms Teo Lay Eng

Financial Controller

Ms. Teo is the financial controller and company secretary for Stamford. Prior to joining Stamford in 2000, she had been the financial accountant and company secretary of TNT Express Worldwide (Singapore) Pte Ltd. Prior to joining TNT Express Worldwide (Singapore) Pte Ltd in 1994, she worked as an accountant with Pan Pacific Publications Ltd and other companies and audit firms. Ms Teo graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree. She is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.

Ms Tan Chuan Chin

Ms Tan Chuan Chin
Director, Human Resource

Ms Tan Chuan Chin holds a Diploma in Personnel Management (Singapore Productivity and Standards Board) and she is also a member of the Singapore Human Resources Institute.

Ms Tan joined Stamford in 1982 and she is currently the Director of Human Resources, responsible for implementing human resource strategies and policies.

Mr Hon Wei Seng

General Counsel

Prior to his appointment with Stamford in 2009, Mr Hon served as corporate counsel with Singapore Power, ST Telemedia and Frontline Technologies (n.k.a. BT-Frontline).

Admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, Mr Hon holds a Degree of Master of Laws from National University of Singapore, and a Master of Technology Management degree from University of Queensland, Australia.

Mr Thomas Ong

Chief Operating Officer

Mr Ong, who joined Stamford in 2001, currently oversees all aspects of the operations of Stamford Hotels & Resorts. Mr Ong was previously the Director of Operations of Bass Hotels & Resorts and later the Financial Controller of Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts.

Mr Ong holds an Advanced Certificate in Business Administration from University of Hong Kong. Certified as Hotel Administrator by the American Hotels & Motels Association, Mr Ong is also an Associate Member of The Association of International Accountants, London.

Mr Jon Foo

Deputy Chief Operating Officer

Previously with Neptune Ship Management Pte Ltd and Sea-Pac Management Ptd Ltd, Mr Foo is equipped with a First Class Marine Engineer Competency (Marine Department, Ministry of Communication, Singapore). Mr Foo also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Brunel and Henley College, UK.

Mr Foo joined Stamford in 1998 and is currently the Deputy Chief Operating Officer of Stamford Hotels & Resorts. Other than overseeing day-to-day management and hotel operations, Mr Foo is responsible for forging tactical alliances to drive and ensure optimal business opportunities and best business practices for the Group. Mr Foo's portfolio also includes the enhancement and development of the Group's hotel properties and key hospitality infrastructure.

Graeme Goldberg

Managing Director, Stamford Hotels & Resorts Adelaide

Mr Goldberg first joined Stamford Hotels & Resorts in 1996 and was Area General Manager for Stamford Grand Adelaide and Stamford Plaza Adelaide hotels.

In 2009, the hospitality veteran was a recipient of the New South Wales (NSW) National Tourism Legends Awards, which are presented to senior leaders in tourism and hospitality in NSW.

When he was Area General Manager for Stamford Grand Adelaide and Stamford Plaza Adelaide hotels, he was named Responsible Officer of the Year at the 2001 Safe Work Awards by South Australia's WorkCover Corporation.

After an absence of nearly seven years from Stamford Hotels & Resorts, he returned in September 2011 as Managing Director of the Adelaide properties.

Ms Heather Idoine

General Manager, Sir Stamford at Circular Quay

Armed with years of experience, Ms Idoine joined Stamford Hotels & Resorts in July 2011 after having held senior management positions in the Australian and New Zealand hospitality scenes.

In 2009, she was named New Zealand Hotel Manager by the definitive HM Awards, which is an annual event presented by leading industry magazine HM - Hotel & Accommodation Management.

Karl Unterfrauner

Karl Unterfrauner
General Manager, Stamford Plaza Melbourne

Mr Unterfrauner grew up in Italy where he completed his chef apprenticeship. As a chef, he has served at leading European culinary establishments in countries such as Germany and Switzerland.

He has also attended hotel management programmes at the Blue Mountains International Hotel School and the University of South Australia.

Before joining Stamford Hotels & Resorts in November 2010, Mr Unterfrauner held a number of senior hospitality management positions in Australia and New Zealand.

Mr Peter Gee

Mr Peter Gee
General Manager, Stamford Plaza Auckland

Mr Gee attended Bass Hotels & Resorts' Advanced Management Program in Business Administration at the University of Hong Kong. Certified as a hotel administrator by the American Hotels & Motels Association, he also holds a Certificate of Catering Management from Australia's William Angliss College of Catering and Food Studies.

Mr Gee joined Stamford Hotels & Resorts in 2003 and was awarded New Zealand Hotel General Manager of the Year at the 2005 HM Awards for Hotel and Accommodation Excellence.

Mr Kym Carter

Mr Kym Carter
General Manager, Stamford Plaza Brisbane

Mr Carter joined Stamford Hotels & Resorts in 2008, following years of experience in senior hospitality management positions at international hotel brands in countries such as China, Australia, Japan and the US.

He holds a degree in hotel management from the School of Hospitality in South Australia's Regency Park.

Mr Guy Challis

Mr Guy Challis
General Manager, Stamford Grand North Ryde

Mr Challis first joined Stamford Hotels and Resorts in 2004 as General Manager for the Stamford Plaza Melbourne. He has previously held senior hospitality management positions in Australia, South Africa, Europe, Asia and Fiji.

He attended the hotel management programme at Cornell University and is a certified hotel administrator by the American Hotels & Motels Association.

Mr Anthony Rice

Mr Anthony Rice
Director, Development & Construction

Mr Rice holds a Bachelor of Business in Land Valuation and Administration from West Australian Institute (n.k.a Curtin University of Technology). Prior to joining Stamford, he served in senior positions with The Paul Ramsay Group (n.k.a Ramsay Health Care and Prime Television Network), AV Jennings, Addenbrooke Developments and Leda Holdings.

Mr Rice joined Stamford in 1996 and is currently overseeing all property development activities in Australia and New Zealand. His responsibilities include the evaluation of new development opportunities, management of development projects, construction, sales and marketing activities, as well as asset management activities such as leasing.
